In this talk, I explore the impact of the coming era of diverse, connected, intelligent things. How will our existing attitudes about interaction design need to change? “The Well-Behaved Object” is a way of thinking about the relationship between us and the things we make—and what it takes for these objects to be not just “intelligent”, but valuable, empowering, and meaningful.
